MyGovID is a secure online account for accessing your public services online. In order to use this service, you must first register with MyGovID. MyGovID is built on the Public Service Card, linking a ‘real world’ identity to an online one. For Public Service Bodies to ensure the MyGovID authentication process is secure you first go through a SAFE registration and obtain a Public Services Card. This is a once off task that then enables citizens to access all their Government Services online.
